12 months at Metropolis for Roni Gasper

Happy 1st Anniversary

It’s hard to believe that almost a year has passed since Rhonda ‘Roni’ Gasper joined Metropolis in the role of Business Director. Roni came to us with over a decade of property industry experience including 6 years spent at Colliers International as the NSW Marketing Manager for Residential Projects

Roni’s key role on joining Metropolis was to drive the relationship with key stakeholders at Colliers International leading the National Commercial Property Account servicing, a responsibility she nailed from the outset. She has been the driving force in not only managing and delivering numerous campaigns but also in consulting and challenging the brief to achieve the best outcome.

We sat down with Roni for a quick chat to find out what she has enjoyed about her first year at Metropolis:

“I have absolutely loved my time at Metropolis so far, it’s been great meeting new people and working on a side of the industry that I haven’t been exposed to previously. I have learnt so much over the last 12 months, on top of this I’ve found it beneficial to tap into all the skills I built over the years – my years of knowledge from working the property industry, my experience within the media landscape and knowing how creativity works best for the resi market.”

“It’s been great learning new systems such as CAMPAIGNxpress, Zendesk and Asana for building workflow and efficiencies, and of course being in Agency world and it’s been an advantage working with the talented Metropolis creative team, who very quickly taught me the skill of writing a good brief!”

“Over the past year, I have thoroughly enjoyed working with the broader account management team and sharing what I know from my years at Colliers, plus exposure to many amazing residential and mixed use projects. I think I have been able to help them build on their understanding of the property industry and sales and marketing strategies – I feel it’s been useful to give them an insight into tackling a project from the client perspective and providing a better understanding of what the client expects from us as their Agency partner.”

“Outside of the new relationships within Metropolis, it has also been great building fresh relationships with the Colliers teams nationally. It’s been engaging working with all the different teams, learning the intricacies of each of the business lines and producing some great marketing campaigns.”
