We are thrilled to have recently welcomed a bunch of fresh, new faces to the Metropolis team. With new faces, comes new experience, ideas and of course – new goals. We recently sat down for a chat with our new recruits so we could get to know them a little better

Read on below to get familiar with a few of their favourite things, and what they enjoy about working at Metropolis…

After finishing up my Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing & Management in New Zealand last June, I made the jump across the ditch to Sydney – where I have been living in Manly for the last year.

I joined Metropolis at the start of July this year, after working in a boutique agency before looking to hustle city-side in a bigger agency, where I can gain experience working alongside a team of talented and switched-on people. My aim at Metropolis is to grow my skills and confidence as part of the Brand Team, through being a part of the creative process for projects – from ideation through to delivery – and seeing how projects progress over time, gaining insight, feedback and experience along the way.

I value teamwork and already feel that in my brief time at Metropolis so far, it is a highly cooperative and collaborative environment – which I couldn’t be more stoked to be a part of and working in.

After completing my Master’s Degree in Paris 1 year ago, I decided to move to Australia as I wanted a new international challenge.

Having a passion for real estate and experience in digital marketing, I wanted to join an agency to gain exposure to working on different projects and accelerate my learning. I was previously working client side and wanted to discover Agency world more in depth. Metropolis with it’s focus on being a Marketing Consultancy to the Property industry has been a really good match!

In my spare time I like to practice outdoor activities and sports, but more than anything I love food from all over the world and cooking new recipes.

 – Holidays
 – Fashion
Pet hates:

 – Onions
 – Crowds

After graduating with a Bachelor of Business Administration & Marketing Management, I moved to the United States. I spent the last three years exploring and working with my base being Denver, Colorado. Having moved back to Australia earlier this year I joined Metropolis hoping to continue to nurture my skills in a successful company. I have a love for real estate, marketing and operations so Metropolis was a perfect opportunity for me.

I have always wanted to experience and learn the ins and outs of a fast-paced agency. My hope for my career at Metropolis is to further improve my skills through exposure to a variety of departments in the business. In my hybrid role, working with the operations team allows me to contribute to ensuring the wider agency team have all the tools for success.

The collaborative nature and people at Metropolis is by far my favourite aspect of the business and I look forward to seeing what we can achieve together in the year ahead.

I came to Australia in 2014, to do a term abroad at the International College of Management based in beautiful Manly, Sydney.

My stay here in Australia wasn’t supposed to be longer than 6 months, however, life can unfold in ways you don’t always plan and I fell in love with a laidback, surfy Aussie bloke (queue cheesy love story). I decided to stay and after finishing my Bachelor of Business majoring in Marketing at ICMS, I was able to do an internship at Allianz, which was a great experience.

My mentor (the creative director) believed in me from the first minute I started and gave me a lot of responsibility through the entire internship, including rolling out an entire brand campaign. This opportunity provided a great insight into the Australian advertising market.

From the internship, I moved more towards the digital marketing industry and worked as a Media Executive for big global agency, before then working as a contractor Media Buyer and Planner for a boutique agency.

I joined Metropolis in June this year and was immediately made to feel comfortable and welcomed, so to me, it feels like I’ve worked here for longer than I have. I am excited to be part of an agency that has a great mix of experienced and fresh keen people in the team all driven towards a clear vision. I look forward to seeing where I can make an impact as part of the team at Metropolis.
